"I'm not your princess, this ain't our fairytale"

She stood in the pale light his arms wrapped around her waist. In that moment she felt complete, but still feared her feelings and what might happen. Time seemed to stand still and no one else seemed to exist, they were alone even though there were people all around. He was able to push her buttons and bring a smile to her face at the same time. Every man before incapable of making her feel such a way. A country song came on, he started to sing, as did she. It was in those few seconds that she fell. She fell for a man who had become one of her closest friends. Fear was again brought on, about how to handle such feelings, as this was uncharted territory for her. He drove her home and they spent even more time basking in each others company, almost as if they couldn't get enough. She finally walked him to his car and as they talked he leaned in and kissed her. It was a sweet, soft kiss, one full of passion. If she was scared before she was terrified now, what was she going to do? Did that mean he likes her? Or did he just decided to ruin their friendship? Since distance separated them technology was their only form of communication. They discussed the kiss and how they were both confused and not sure how they felt. Although she secretly hoped he had strong feelings for her. Time passed and they went out again. He greeted her with a hug and one of those soft kisses. He wrapped his arms around her waist and gave her a tour of his house. They began to cook a dessert and as it cooked he once again wrapped his arms around her and just held her close. She met his dad and joined them for dinner. Some more sweet kisses were shared and the time came for her to leave. He walked her to her car, opened her door, kissed her goodbye, told her to drive safe and gently closed the door.

Sounds perfect right?! Only the girl goes and messes it up by asking where they are going. A seemingly harmless question to her, enraged him to the point he won't speak with the girl anymore. Two years of friendship down the drain. Not to mention another broken heart. It's funny how fast you fall, when you realize what you want is right in front of you...

And now for a song that I loved back in the day, and still think its good(and mildly fitting). I used to love to watch the show instant star and this is a song from it. ha ha I discovered it on netflix today and am SO excited to watch it again....yes, I am that lame ;)
